next step
We expected to hear back from the bank this week about our offer on house #1 (blog below) but still haven't heard anything, so we're looking more seriously at house #2:

Praying for just the right place...and patience for you guys as you wait - tough!!
I hope it works out for you. Be patient, when your working with banks they can be really slow right now. It took over 8 weeks for us to hear back from the bank on the first house we put an offer on. It will come in time, the nice part is you can get a great deal. But with so many forclosures banks are really backed up.

hey finally remembered to look at your house pics! I like this one better outside although the other one looks like its prob more spacious inside. both look nice. hope something works out!
